IT Governance Consulting Assistants
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and disciplined IT Governance Consulting Assistant to join our consulting team. This role is designed for individuals who possess a strong technical foundation, a high level of professional integrity, and a passion for the evolving landscape of technology.
The specific duties and tactical activities you will perform:
1. Policy Drafting: Write and organize IT policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal compliance documents.
2. Technical Research: Conduct deep-dive research on AI applications and other emerging techs to provide actionable insights for risk management.
3. Audit Support: Collect, verify, and organize data/evidence required for IT audits and risk assessments.
4. Progress Tracking: Monitor project timelines and coordinate with team members to ensure no deadline is missed under pressure.
5. Presentation Prep: Assist in preparing consulting materials and slide decks that explain complex governance concepts to clients.
Responsibilities
- Governance Implementation: Support the alignment of client IT strategies with global standards (COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001, or ITIL).
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all technical documentation and compliance reports meet high-quality professional standards.
- Team Integration: Foster a collaborative environment to ensure project milestones and client deliverables are met successfully.
- Strategic Innovation: Act as a subject matter enthusiast for latest technologies, ensuring the team stays ahead of AI-driven governance trends.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight: Contribute to the integrity of the audit process and the identification of organizational IT risks.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (or a closely related field).
- Technical Knowledge: * Possess at least a foundational knowledge of IT Governance principles.
- Well-informed about latest technologies, with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) trends and applications.
- Professional Conduct: * Must be polite and possess excellent professional ethics.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills when dealing with colleagues and clients.
